StrategiaGTM is seeking a high-performing entry-level Financial Analyst to support private equity–style investment analysis, M&A execution, and corporate finance decision-making. The role involves building financial models, supporting investment decisions, and conducting strategic analysis while working closely with senior consultants and leadership.

Management Consulting

Responsibilities

Build and maintain robust financial models, including:
3-statement operating models
Cash flow forecasting and scenario analysis
Sensitivity and downside cases
Support valuation analyses (DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions)
Analyze returns, IRRs, leverage, and value-creation levers
Support buy-side and sell-side analyses, including:
Target screening and market mapping
Deal economics and investment memos
Synergy and value-creation modeling
Assist with commercial and financial due diligence
Support capital allocation and growth investment decisions
Analyze unit economics, margins, pricing, and cost structures
Conduct market sizing (TAM / SAM / SOM) and competitive benchmarking
Translate financial outputs into clear, investment-oriented insights
Support executive-level materials and board-ready analysis
Work directly with senior team members on live engagements
Prepare clean, audit-ready models and exhibits
Support tight timelines typical of transaction environments
Develop judgment around what •matters• financially in a deal

Qualification

Required

0–2 years of experience in: Private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, consulting, or similar
OR exceptional new graduate with strong internships in finance or deals
Strong financial and quantitative skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset
Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines

Preferred

Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline
Exposure to: Financial modeling and valuation
M&A or transaction-related work
Strong academic performance and evidence of discipline and rigor
Clear, concise communication style (written and verbal)
