Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement microservices using Spring Boot and integrate them into our existing architecture
Develop and maintain business rules using Drools engine to automate decision-making processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, business analysts, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Ensure high-quality code through code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration
Optimize microservices for scalability, reliability, and performance
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Java applications, microservices, and rule engine integrations
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, APIs, and business rules
Keep abreast of emerging technologies and best practices to improve development efficiency
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Java Developer with extensive knowledge of Java SE/EE
In-depth experience with Spring Boot framework and creating RESTful services
Strong understanding of Microservices architecture, design patterns, and deployment strategies
Hands-on experience with Drools BRMS for developing and managing business rules
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred
Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI
Familiarity with Service Mesh, API gateways, and load balancing
Understanding of security best practices in microservices
