Responsibilities
Own end-to-end data mapping from source systems to target data assets
Translate business requirements into detailed mapping and technical documentation
Develop, unit test, and review SQL-based datasets for enterprise data pipelines
Define business rules, transformation logic, and derived fields
Contribute to data models, ER diagrams, and context diagrams
Participate in data architecture and mapping review sessions
Provide technical guidance, performance optimization, and best-practice recommendations
Mentor junior analysts and promote data quality and process improvements
Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple lines of business
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in data analytics or data sourcing roles
Strong experience within the banking or financial services domain
Expertise in SQL, with hands-on experience in Python and/or SAS
Experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery)
Strong understanding of data governance, risk management, and data quality practices
Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence
Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
