JSR Tech Consulting is seeking a Developer with a focus on AWS to join their Platform Enablement team. The role involves designing, building, and optimizing cloud-based data feed solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with SLAs.

Responsibilities

Design & Development

Develop, test, and deploy AWS-based components for data pipelines using Lambda, S3, EventBridge, ECS Fargate and related services

Implement parameter-driven feed generation logic and integrate with multiple data domains (e.g., Contract, Customer)

Build and maintain PostgreSQL-based CFGenDB schemas for transformed domain data

Data Integration & Transformation

Configure and manage data extraction from on-prem and cloud databases

Apply transformation rules via configuration files and ensure accurate feed creation for downstream systems

Automation & Deployment

Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) for automated deployments

Ensure deployments adhere to security and compliance standards

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Monitor feed generation processes, Lambda executions, and ECS tasks

Diagnose and resolve issues related to data validation, file tagging, and access permissions

Collaboration & Documentation

Partner with feature teams, DBAs, and platform engineers to validate deployments and resolve defects

Document deployment steps, configuration standards, and operational runbooks

Communicate status updates and risks to stakeholders

Required

Strong proficiency in AWS services (Lambda, S3, EventBridge, ECS Fargate)

Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL for data modeling and transformation

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket) and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts

Knowledge of data pipeline orchestration and event-driven architectures

Hands-on experience with Python or Java for AWS development

Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate across teams

Excellent communication and documentation abilities
