Responsibilities
Perform hands-on daily accounting tasks including booking journal entries and executing account reconciliations
Manage the consolidation of financial results, specifically for distribution centers and international entities in Mexico and the Philippines, utilizing Workday for consolidation and financial reporting
Serve as a key point of contact and provide necessary support for external auditors to help finalize the year-end audit process
Work independently to maintain clean books and ensure the integrity of financial data
Utilize the Epicor 21 ERP system for General Ledger entries; adaptability and proficiency with various ERP systems are highly valued
Contribute to stabilizing the month-end close and year-end processes during a period of organizational transition
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
10+ years of hands-on accounting experience with a strong focus on reconciliations and month-end close
Deep understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statement accuracy
Strong experience preparing journal entries and performing account analysis
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, formulas)
Able to work independently and dive into detailed, high-volume reconciliations
Preferred
CPA or MBA
Experience with Workday and Epicor 21 systems
ERP-savvy and quick to adapt
