They are seeking an experienced Fixed Assets Staff Accountant to join their Corporate Accounting team, responsible for preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and assisting in financial reporting and process documentation.

Responsibilities
Prepare and understand recurring and non-recurring journal entries, research and resolve reporting errors or discrepancies timely
Perform monthly reconciliations timely and accurately. Investigate and resolve reconciling items
Perform other month end duties and assist in the preparation of financial reports and data required on a timely basis
Assist in identifying and documenting processes and procedures
Work cross-functionally with other team members to gain understanding of business and data requirements to ensure general ledger balances are correct, transactions are classified properly and reported accurately
Assist management in ad hoc projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
2+ years of accounting experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and with different departments within the organization
Proficiency in using all Microsoft Office software required
Experience working in a heavy deadline driven environment
Preferred
Oracle and Hyperion experience preferred
