Intern, Broadcast Operations - LAist
American Public Media Group is a member-supported public media network aiming to strengthen civic and cultural bonds in Southern California. The Intern in Broadcast Operations will support the team with audio production planning and execution, gaining hands-on experience in studio recording sessions, broadcast production, and master control services.

Responsibilities
Support studio production by working directly with the Director of Operations and Senior Studio Technicians/Audio Production Engineers to accomplish the logistics of production, including:
Studio recording sessions and Live engineering for SCPR/LAist local news
Broadcast and podcast production & mixing
Master control services
Qualification
Required
Current college student OR have earned a degree within the last 12 months
Classes or strong experience with audio or video equipment, including microphones, analog and digital processing, studio/venue systems, and stage setup
Must be enrolled in Pasadena City College
Customer service experience
Familiarity with professional audio/video equipment and standard cabling types and uses
Ability to learn while doing. This is a working position, and interns will be expected to move equipment and work side by side with Technical Directors under deadline

Exposure to recording or broadcast studio environments
