Responsibilities

Manage the creation of new, and revision of existing, technical data deliverables for commercial and military aircraft programs within the Collins Aerospace SBUs, including ECAD and MCAD deliverables, Component Maintenance Manuals/Publications (CMM/CMP), Service Bulletins (SB), Service Letters (SL), Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) and provisioning data (T-File/CDF)
Interact with key stakeholders, both internal and external, as part of a cross-functional project team, including program management, engineering, quality, supplier management, MRO, legal, contracts, Global Trade, original equipment manufacturers (OEM), and aircraft operators
Participate in contract reviews to ensure program and project requirements are met including delivery milestones, budget, industry standards, military specifications, and customer requirements
Create project plans in support of program proposals and cost estimates and use plans to manage project details including cost account management and identification of risks and opportunities
Provide technical guidance to writing team through review and analysis of engineering documentation and its impact to the deliverable
Drive quality through review/edit of authored documentation
Drive delivery performance and quality from internal resources and suppliers
Provide regular status updates on deliverables to internal and external customers
Lead and participate in continuous process improvement projects
Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time

Required

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Experience with Office productivity tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and PDF applications
Knowledge and experience with ATA (Air Transportation Association) documentation

Preferred

Business or STEM degree
Direct experience with Collins Aerospace products and services, especially those pertaining to aftermarket/customer service
PMI certification
Technical or aerospace aftermarket and/or customer support experience
Project management experience, including risk analysis, scheduling, and earned value management
Experience with principles and application of continuous improvement; Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) apprentice or equivalent Six Sigma experience
An understanding of aerospace industry standards and military specifications
Previous commercial and/or military experience within the aerospace industry
