Planning & Scheduling Internship - Diamond Kote
Wausau Supply Company, founded in 1947 and headquartered in Schofield, Wisconsin, is a 100% employee-owned distributor of building materials. They are seeking a Summer Planning & Scheduling Intern to gain hands-on experience in inventory planning and supply chain operations while contributing to various responsibilities within a dynamic distribution network.

Responsibilities
Learn inventory planning & production scheduling strategies to service demand and reduce out-of-stock issues
Coordinate with the manufacturing team to ensure efficient operations
Monitor open orders to ensure fulfillment and on-time deliveries
Contribute to performance metrics and learn how On Time & Full metrics are tracked and improved
Assist with internal item setup, product structure creation, and maintenance
Participate in procurement activities for manufacturing components
Help identify and report product and material availability issues
Join continuous improvement projects and contribute ideas
Develop analytical skills by working with supply chain data
Collaborate with various departments and participate in team meetings
Practice professional oral and written communication in a business environment
Learn to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting
Uphold the values of communication excellence, politeness, honor, and integrity
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or Engineering related field
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A desire to dig in and be a doer!
Preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred
