Senior Process Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

Managing process development and improvement projects, including novel processing techniques, yield increase, throughput, and safety improvements
Responsible for reviewing material in WIP, certifying operators, dispositioning out of flow material, and hands on processing of novel detector designs
Providing Process Ownership of vacuum coating tools, etch tools, or lithography tools
Developing requirements and qualification plans for new equipment procurements
Work in a cleanroom environment will full coverall garments
Expert experience with wet etch, metal-lift off, lithography, plasma cleaning, and associated semiconductor process equipment
Maintain statistical process controls for process optimization; trouble shoot and resolve issues supporting the manufacturing process and improve work center process yields
Research new suppliers and technologies for improving production, quality, end cost and throughput
Manage capital equipment acquisitions from initial development to program implementation

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
Experience in Process or Manufacturing Engineering in a Semiconductor, Optics, Electro-Optics and/or Microelectronics environment

Preferred

Expert experience with principles of infrared semiconductor fabrication technologies
Experience with infrared detector technology and semiconductor physics
Project management experience with a focus on capital tool acquisitions
Knowledge of statistical process control and design of experiments
Equipment and controls system experience
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with a cleanroom work environment (Class 100)
Proficiency in engineering computing, including MATLAB, Python or other related language
