Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting activities, including bookkeeping and check runs
Own month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
Analyze monthly P&L results and prepare variance analysis for management
Develop, document, and improve accounting processes and internal controls
Manage accounts receivable, review aging, and support collection efforts
Assist with sales and use tax reporting and multi-state compliance
Support internal and external audits as needed
Partner cross-functionally to support operational and financial objectives
Play a lead role in an upcoming ERP/system integration project
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
Advanced Excel skills; strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
Experience with accounting/ERP systems (QuickBooks required; NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar a plus)
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
