Responsibilities
Provide Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA testing and remediation for Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR) for Sitecore Content Management Solution site and content within the CMS
Work independently under MDCR direction and prioritization following e-Michigan web content standards
Remediate digital content including PDF, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and images
Structure documents, tag content, add alt text, and establish logical reading orders
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree
3+ years working experience with ADA remediation
Experience with Sitecore Content Management Solution
In depth knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA Guidelines
Accessibility testing to ensure conformance to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, specifically with WCAG 2.1 AA
Experience with development and maintenance of web solutions using Sitecore CMS
Ability to conform to the State of Michigan (SOM) Look & Feel Standards
Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices
Strong background with ADA Remediation of digital content including PDF, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Images, Reports on multiple formats
Good communication both verbal and written
Must be authorized to work in the United States; We are unable to offer sponsorships at this time
Must undergo a background check and drug screening for employment
