Responsibilities

Leads the management of our Fashion, Jewelry & Watches, and Home Decor merchandising assortments while maximizing revenue and gross margin. Ensures that merchandise plans are in alignment with our overall Merchandising business plans and strategies
Evaluates vendor capabilities as merchandise suppliers and selects those best suited to compliment the company’s merchandising strategies. Develops and grows business relationships with supplier/vendors. Vets opportunities for new business
Recommends changes in processes to improve service, quality, and/or reduce costs
Monitors supplier performance and reconciles quality and/or fulfillment concerns to ensure quality standards are consistently met
Collaborates with Marketing to create promotional/campaign calendars and provides insights for campaigns
Collaborates with various cross-functional teams in support of the execution of merchandising strategies
Follows prescribed legal guidelines and requirements
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required

5-8 Merchandising experience in Lifestyle classifications with 3+ years of management experience
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Must have proven ability to collaborate with others to understand and complete project goals
Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills and be able to professionally interact with suppliers and employees at all levels of the company
Must have excellent time management and decision-making skills and be able to prioritize and organize tasks and projects
Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines, work independently, and be proactive
Must be able to pay attention to detail and work effectively and collaboratively across various departments to meet goals and deadlines
Must have highly developed and creative problem-solving and project management skills
Ability to influence people across the organization
Ability to coach your reports to grow a high-performance team
Experience hiring and leading diverse teams
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Economics or a related field or any combination of education and/or experience based on the table above is required

Preferred

SQL skills
Graduate degree in Merchandising, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field
