HR & People Operations Analyst

BV Staffing is seeking an HR & People Operations Analyst to support day-to-day people operations and partner closely with leadership to scale the organization. This role focuses on executing core HR processes, maintaining accurate employee data, ensuring compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, role changes, and documentation
Maintain and audit employee records for accuracy and completeness
Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR questions, escalating when necessary
Support compliance activities, evidence collection, access reviews, and policy acknowledgments
Assist with audit readiness through documentation and process management
Prepare HR dashboards and summaries, surfacing risks or delays early
Support performance review cycles, goal tracking, and documentation
Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communication, offer letters, and onboarding
Identify opportunities for workflow improvements and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure process alignment
Maintain clear, current process documentation to enable self-service when appropriate

Required

2–3 years of experience in HR Generalist, People Operations, HR Coordinator, or related roles
Strong knowledge of HR functions such as onboarding, benefits, employee relations, and compliance
Excellent attention to detail and integrity managing sensitive information
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and HR technology tools
Organized, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities
Clear, professional communicator with follow-up skills

Preferred

Experience supporting or maintaining HR policies and documentation
Ability to work independently in a startup or high-growth environment
Exposure to audits or compliance frameworks
Ambition to grow into senior HR or People Operations roles
