Responsibilities
Conduct reverse engineering of legacy applications, business requirements, and artifacts (e.g., BRDs, Excel files, product and writer guidelines) to support process automation and modernization efforts
Analyze existing systems, screens, rules, and workflows to document current-state functionality and translate it into clear, future-state technical requirements
Evaluate the reliability, completeness, and location of legacy artifacts and determine how they should be transformed into modern requirements for low-code platforms and AI-enabled solutions
Define and maintain data dictionaries, field mappings, and data lineage across platforms, with a strong focus on data flow rather than data analysis
Read, interpret, and document JSON and XML structures, understanding how data is split, transformed, and consumed across different technologies and tools
Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and automation teams to ensure requirements, rules, and data flows are clearly defined and aligned
Support automation initiatives by providing well-structured requirements and system context, without owning hands-on execution or development
Collaborate closely with Unqork and downstream platform teams to ensure accurate translation of business needs into scalable technical designs
Qualification
Required
2+ years of hands-on experience in technical projects, including data mapping, stakeholder management, and application development
Demonstrated curiosity, presence, confidence, and persistence
Presence: Significant time spent performing this type of role
Curiosity: Interest in exploring new technologies such as AI
Confidence: Ability to lead joint application development sessions independently
Persistence: Ability to hold stakeholders and teams accountable to deliverables
