Responsibilities
Help with completion of various lab operations projects for 5S and general lab organization
Complete tasks in an independent manner but do not be discouraged from asking questions to understand the scope of the request
Integrate into various teams to help out in both upstream cell culture and downstream purification experiments. Be a fast learner who is curious to learn more about bioprocessing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or master's degree OR
Associate degree and 4 years scientific experience
Mammalian cell culture and/or protein chromatography
Lab operations and 5S
Preferred
Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or other relevant sciences with a demonstrated record of excellence
Ability to identify, develop and implement solutions to practical problems through application of fundamental scientific and engineering principles, preferably in a process development environment
Basic understanding of protein chromatography, filtration or cell culture principles; hands-on experience with purification operations is a plus
