The AVP will lead a team of bankers, focusing on business development, client relationships, and achieving sales targets while ensuring high-quality service and compliance.

Responsibilities
Works with the loan officers to promote loan growth, maintain and enhance existing relationships, and secure new relationships to achieve Credit Union strategic goals. This includes communicating to the staff the prevailing risk and pricing appetite, assessment of current economic conditions, and participating in joint calls
Provides Commercial Lending employees with functional guidance, training, and support to ensure each achieve their highest potential. Through joint calling activities, the AVP will provide real-time feedback based on observations in order to strengthen banker sales skills
Participates with Commercial Lending leadership in developing and executing strategies to ensure growth in business lending and efficiencies, incorporating into the budgetary process, to meet establish department and Credit Union goals
Participates with Commercial Lending leadership in developing business loan policy, procedures, and internal controls
Performs other job related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Five or more years of Commercial Lending experience is required
One or more years of supervisory experience is required
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
Must have ability to prioritize demands from multiple projects
Must possess good data analysis skills
Must be proficient with Microsoft 365
