Responsibilities
Support pharmacovigilance, product safety, health agency requests, or product submissions in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry
Extensive experience searching scientific literature and constructing complex search strategies in databases such as MEDLINE, Embase, Derwent Drug File, or BIOSIS
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and teammates possessing diverse technical and business backgrounds
Work in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment with shifting priorities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (7+ years of experience), Master's degree (5+ years of experience) or Ph.D. degree (0-2 years of experience) in library science, life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, bioinformatics, biomedical/clinical data science or related field
Experience supporting pharmacovigilance, product safety, health agency requests, or product submissions in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry
Extensive experience searching scientific literature and constructing complex search strategies in databases such as MEDLINE, Embase, Derwent Drug File, or BIOSIS
Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with clients and teammates possessing diverse technical and business backgrounds
Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment with shifting priorities
Should not be purely computational/computer science or purely biological—must have strong biomedical literature search depth
Preferred
Experience with Dialog search platform
