Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end financial analysis and modeling with a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail
Prepare complete, well-supported deliverables including financial packages, business cases, scenario models, and documentation
Identify, design, and build dashboards and KPIs; this role requires determining what should be built, not just executing requests
Operate independently by identifying issues, defining solutions, and executing without close oversight
Partner closely with leadership on strategic initiatives spanning emergency response operations, technology initiatives, and infrastructure programs
Maintain a proactive communication style and seek additional responsibility when capacity allows
Support forecasting, budgeting, cash flow modeling, scenario planning, and ad hoc analysis across evolving business lines
Qualification
Required
5–8+ years of progressive finance experience (minimum 5 years)
Comfortable operating without daily direction or step-by-step guidance
Able to anticipate needs and act decisively
Produces accurate, well-reasoned financial analysis with complete supporting documentation
Confident owning financial models, reporting structures, and dashboards end-to-end
Performs well in fast-moving, unpredictable situations
Willing to work nights or weekends when required by business demands
Industry background is less important than analytical strength and execution ability
Comfortable supporting work that may be politically sensitive, including emergency management and public-sector-adjacent operations
Preferred
Candidates from high-growth, tech, or analytics-heavy environments tend to perform well
Government-only backgrounds are generally not aligned with the pace of this role
