Law Practice
Responsibilities
Review invoice and personal reimbursement requests to ensure proper coding and compliance with firm policies
Review prepared checks before mailing; ensure accurate address, mailing procedures, etc
Manual check entry for requests that cannot be processed through standard processes
Communicate to preparer/requestor or other appropriate individual any issues/discrepancies identified during the payment process. Follow-up with the appropriate individuals until the issue/discrepancy has been resolved
Provide excellent customer service by replying to vendor/employee inquiries regarding the payment process in an accurate and efficient manner
Provide support and assistance to co-workers. Work with team to resolve identified issues
Special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED equivalent required
1 + year of accounting or finance experience required
This role is fully remote but must reside in a commutable distance to the applicable firm's office
Knowledge of accounts payable policies and procedures
Oral and/or written communication skills to solicit and communicate information effectively with all levels of personnel
Ability to solve problems by choosing among clear alternatives
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of personnel
Preferred
High volume data entry/review experience preferred
