Builds new Hospital Chargemaster Procedures/Supplies specific to Department needs
Maintains the Hospital Chargemaster according to CMS regulations and compliance on a timely basis
Follows-up and resolves issues related to charting audits within the patient bill, provides education, and additional compliance documentation as needed
Investigates, responds to, and communicates information regarding Departmental coding, documentation, compliance, and reimbursement
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL CODER (CPC)
HS DIPLOMA/GED
2+ years of related experience
Be able to obtain CPC within a year of employment
