Responsibilities

Participate in the FPS Open-Source Threat Intelligence Program
Monitor open-source platforms to identify threats to federal facilities and FPS operations
Support regional special event open-source information requirements
Coordinate timely threat reporting to PIID leadership, FPS SWO, and regional leadership following investigative policies
Comply with all DHS and FPS privacy and civil liberties regulations
Identify OSINT information meeting FPS Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs) and Commander’s Critical Information Requirements (CCIRs)
Ensure PIR/CCIR intelligence is reported to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) per reporting procedures
Access law enforcement and intelligence systems daily to identify items relevant to the ELT 0830 briefing
Draft the Daily Intelligence Review Bulletin (DIRB) for PIID Director review no later than 0730 hours
Brief the DIRB to the ELT during the 0830 daily briefing
Finalize and distribute the DIRB no later than 1000 hours daily
Maintain access to law enforcement and intelligence systems including:LEIMS, TECS, WebRMS, EIS, TAVISS, HSIN, DCII, Accurint, HSDN, JWICS
Conduct field intelligence checks and gather required information for FPS personnel and desk officers
Package and disseminate information in accordance with FPS protocols
Document all RFIs and system checks for metrics and performance tracking
Lead intelligence data gathering for critical incidents as identified by FPS SWO or ELT
Correlate intelligence with reporting from DHS watch centers, law enforcement systems, and classified networks
Assist in producing and disseminating critical incident reports to the ELT and other FPS senior leaders
Ensure all products comply with security classification and handling guidelines
Use FPS systems to gather, analyze, and report data relevant to operational activities
Collaborate with IAIB and IB Desk Officers to identify trends in threats, criminal activity, and operational impacts
Produce data-driven reports, briefings, and analytic products for FPS Headquarters
Assist in drafting PIID intelligence and information reports in accordance with the FPS RISP directive

Required

Ability to formulate and apply mathematical models or optimization techniques to operational challenges
Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data sets in support of management or operational decision-making
Ability to work independently with limited oversight
Strong communication skills, including written reports, briefings, and real-time operational updates
Experience developing or supporting decision-support tools or analytic products
Ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize data from multiple systems
Knowledge of intelligence production processes and OSINT best practices
Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including briefing senior leaders
Familiarity with the law enforcement and intelligence systems listed above
Strict adherence to classification, information handling, and civil liberties policies
Proficiency in Adobe products and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Experience: Up to 5 years in intelligence, operations centers, law enforcement analysis, emergency management, national security, or similar fields
Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required
Operational Requirement: Ability to work core hours and adjust based on mission needs
Position requires applicant to be a US Citizen and able to obtain the required security clearance for the position

Preferred

Experience supporting DHS, FPS, or federal intelligence environments
Familiarity with intelligence lifecycle processes and DHS reporting structures
Prior experience preparing daily intelligence products, briefings, or operational summaries
Strong OSINT methodology background
