Responsibilities
Leads with a relentless pursuit of the quality specifications dictated by our customers and to strengthen YMW’s corporate Quality Statement
Oversees the BRC Certification processes and audit
Maintains current knowledge of industry quality requirements
Sets departmental goals and establish tactical plans for improvement
Oversees and develops all necessary programs to meet industry requirements
Maintains and sets Good Manufacturing Practices
Integrates Pest Management System
Sets Supplier Management Program
Maintains the Traceability & Recall Program
Ensures Proper Documentation and Record Keeping
Guides on the Allergen Awareness Management Program
Assists with the Corrective Action Program
Ensures corrective/preventive actions are implemented for internal and external customer complaints
Updates and maintains Quality manual
Updates and maintains Quality SOP program
Ensures policies and procedures compliance across all departments for SOP.s
Is visible for YMW’s plant team to understand and communicate YMW Quality programs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a Technical field, i.e. Food Science, Engineering, IT
At least 10 years' experience in Technical management
Excellent communication skills
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral forms
Ability to solve a variety of problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited information or standardization exists
Computer literate (basic understanding of Word and Excel and data entry skills)
Ability to learn and understand technical laboratory equipment analyses
Preferred
Versed in BRC standards preferred
