Responsibilities
Assisting with the monthly and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
Preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
Supporting the preparation of internal management reporting, variance analysis, and financial schedules
Assisting with maintaining and improving internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
Coordinating with external auditors during annual audits and other reviews
Supporting compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulatory requirements
Partnering with the Controller and operational teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and special projects
Supervising, mentoring, and developing accounting staff
Supporting the Controller with due diligence and integration of acquisitions
Identifying opportunities for process automation, system enhancements, and efficiency improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting and/or industry)
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems and advanced Excel skills
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Supervisory experience
