The Accounting Compliance Assistant supports the Accounting Compliance team by ensuring subcontractor compliance documentation is accurate and complete prior to payment, working closely with various teams to maintain efficient payment processes.

Responsibilities

Ensure required compliance and legal documentation is received and properly executed prior to subcontractor payment

Compile lien waivers and submit completed packages to owners or title companies as required

Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation, including change orders, within Excel tracking tools

Organize and maintain departmental files and records

Communicate with subcontractors regarding missing documentation, payment status, and compliance requirements

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve documentation or payment issues

Perform additional administrative or compliance-related duties as needed

Required

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail

Preferred

Experience with JD Edwards, Textura Payment Management and Procore is a plus
