Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end procurement activities for facilities construction projects, including new builds, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades
Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with project schedules, budgets, and quality requirements
Manage vendor identification, evaluation, contract negotiation, and onboarding
Partner with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to forecast materials and services demand
Oversee supplier performance, address delivery or quality issues, and ensure contractual compliance
Ensure procurement activities align with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards
Identify cost-reduction opportunities and implement risk mitigation strategies across procurement efforts
Coordinate procurement timelines to support multiple concurrent construction projects
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience supporting construction or facilities projects
Demonstrated experience with sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, and supplier management
Proven ability to manage procurement across multiple projects simultaneously
Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to construction procurement
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
Experience supporting capital projects for large or highly regulated organizations
Proficiency with procurement or ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle preferred
