Responsibilities
Developing and implementing a variety of different written communication strategies intended to cultivate, solicit and steward donors who contribute philanthropic funds to Henry Ford Health System
Production of newsletters, email communications, letters, solicitations, donor stewardship reports, web content, giving opportunity content, and social media content
Managing donor engagement, cultivation and stewardship goals through content creation and implementation of effective multi-channel tactics to target key constituencies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, marketing, web/digital, communications, public relations, advertising, health care management or a related field
Two (2) years of experience in marketing, communications, content writing, or operations, with increasing complexity
Solid understanding of digital communications, multi-channel, integrated marketing, integrated promotions and analytics tools
Understanding of brand voice and style, writing for SEO, and writing with energy and flavor
Exceptional leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills
Strong writing, communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated experience and passion for staying current on social technology universe (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc., discussion forums and community software)
Experience using: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Data, analytics and metrics oriented
