Responsibilities
Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and employees by following site-specific, security-related procedures and access control policies at entrances, gates, and/or lobbies
Control access to the location by checking identification, issuing temporary credentials as directed, maintaining visitor logs, and directing individuals to appropriate check-in areas
Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle and foot traffic, including delivery and shipping activity, and report suspicious or unusual activity per site procedures
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and supporting emergency response activities as directed
Conduct regular and random patrols of the production areas, warehouses, and perimeter to help to identify and report hazards, unsecured doors, and/or policy violations
Qualification
Required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
