Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineers across multiple functional teams to deliver value to internal and external stakeholders
Design, develop, and enhance modules within Tesla’s proprietary ERP platform, Warp, supporting vehicle planning, procurement, and manufacturing processes
Build scalable, maintainable backend solutions using technologies such as C#, Go, MySQL, and other open-source frameworks
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services to support enterprise-scale applications
Gain a deep understanding of both the business and technical aspects of the applications to maximize effectiveness and impact
Ensure timely completion of development tasks and small projects while adhering to organizational standards and best practices
Continuously learn, evaluate, and apply modern software development practices, tools, and architectural patterns
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize system performance
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in web application development, including: API design and implementation, Object-Oriented Programming and Design (OOP/OOD), Object-Relational Mapping (ORM)
Strong backend development experience using technologies such as C#, Go, Java, or similar
Frontend development experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React
Experience working with relational and non-relational databases (SQL and NoSQL)
Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies
Proficiency with distributed version control systems such as Git
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent practical experience
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a consistent track record of exceeding expectations
Strong experience in backend engineering with C# and/or Go is required
Preferred
Experience building enterprise-scale applications
Experience working with small to medium-sized engineering teams
Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases
Familiarity with messaging and streaming technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar platforms
Exposure to extreme programming (XP) practices
