LHH is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join a high-performing Finance team supporting a fast-growing distribution business. In this role, you will own the financial planning and reporting cycle, providing analysis and insights that guide operational decisions and improve performance.

Responsibilities

Lead the annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and strategic planning processes for the business unit
Manage the finance calendar, ensuring all milestones are hit and issues are addressed proactively
Deliver routine and ad hoc reporting that uncovers trends and informs decision-making
Analyze financial and operational data; develop models for margin analysis, PVM, profitability by customer/product line, waterfalls, and other key business drivers
Present financial results to senior leadership—serving as the 'finance voice' behind revenue, COGS, operating expenses, and EBITDA performance
Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities to strengthen financial outcomes
Support special projects by preparing 'what-if' scenarios and financial impact analyses
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, IT, Accounting, Corporate Finance, and others
Enhance processes, reporting, and controls; design and automate high-quality monthly/quarterly reporting packages

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
4–6 years of relevant experience, ideally within a large corporate environment
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, tables, and models

Preferred

Experience with major ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
Strong proficiency with data/financial reporting tools and the ability to quickly learn new systems
Prior experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, executive‑level presentations, and business unit analysis
Continuous improvement mindset with experience streamlining or redesigning processes
High intellectual curiosity with excellent financial modeling capabilities
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Detail orientation with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑moving environment
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build cross‑functional relationships
