The Electrical Analytical Division is seeking an Electrical Analytical Engineering Consultant 2 to perform various electrical studies and collaborate with project teams and clients on power systems analysis.

Responsibilities

Relay setting calculations
Power system calculations
Arc flash calculations
Cable ampacity calculations
Transient analysis
Harmonic analysis
Renewable energy calculations
Grounding and induction calculations

Qualification

Required

A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (background in Power/Power Systems) and sufficient industry experience is considered in lieu of an advanced degree
10+ years of experience performing electrical analysis
Experience performing analysis of power systems using software such as: ETAP, SKM, PSCAD and EMTP-RV
Proficiency with MS Office applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work with and guide others

Preferred

Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering is preferred
Strong working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, etc
Successful completion of the Professional Engineering (PE) exam
