New Grad, Entry LevelChatsworth Products (CPI) is seeking a Production Associate - Grinder to join their team in Georgetown, Texas. In this role, you will perform various production tasks, operate equipment, and maintain safety and quality standards under the supervision of a Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities
Under direct supervision, operates equipment and performs production tasks as assigned
Inspects and maintains equipment for compliance with safety requirements. Notifies Production Supervisor of any safety issues that need to be corrected prior to performing operations
Inspects parts per work in process inspection procedure. Notifies Production Supervisor or Quality Assurance Inspector of any quality and/or mechanical problems that need to be resolved. Production Supervisor and/or Setup person will make minor repairs and equipment adjustments, as needed
Works from blueprints, engineering specifications and production schedules
Continuously maintains a clean work area. Disposes of trash and production scrap. Assists in cleaning common areas
Performs other related duties, as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering specifications
Capable of using measuring devices as required for product inspection
Available and willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as production demand dictates
Adheres and acts in line with CPI core values
Possesses high level of skill, knowledge and ability in assigned functional area
Complies with company safety rules and regulations
Takes a proactive approach to identify and eliminate safety hazards
Gives high priority to customer satisfaction
Uses diplomacy and tact
