Responsibilities
Advise on large-scale contracts with high-profile counterparties, including third-party vendors, cloud, SaaS, IT service providers and outsourcing partners
Work closely with procurement, product, engineering and operations teams, helping shape how the business scales responsibly within a regulated environment
Lead on negotiating and structuring high-value commercial agreements with retailers, acquirers and other international counterparties
Work closely with go-to-market, commercial and procurement teams to bring consumer-facing products to market at scale
Manage complex, multi-jurisdictional contracts with high-profile counterparties
Qualification
Required
Ideally 4–10 years' PQE
Proven commercial judgement and pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
Experience with procurement and/or sales contracting (depending on the role)
Exposure to consumer-facing products and services
Experience negotiating large-scale agreements with third-party vendors, acquirers, retailers and IT/technology providers
Understanding of privacy and data governance frameworks (GDPR, GLBA, CCPA/CPRA)
Ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally
Strong commercial legal background and experience operating at the intersection of financial services and technology
Proven track record of managing complex, multi-jurisdictional contracts with high-profile counterparties
Preferred
Experience in financial services or fintech is highly desirable
Familiarity with privacy matters, including GDPR, GLBA, and CCPA/CPRA, is a strong advantage
Consumer-facing experience is essential, given the nature of the products
Privacy and data protection experience, including GDPR and other international frameworks, is highly valued
