Start in 2026 SummerEVstudio is a multidisciplinary design firm dedicated to designing solutions that shape communities. They are seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to assist with electrical design for building systems and support various project-related tasks.

Responsibilities
Assist with electrical design for building systems, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems
Prepare and revise electrical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit under the direction of licensed engineers
Support layout and design of lighting, receptacles, panels, and circuitry
Assist with basic electrical calculations such as load calculations and circuiting
Help coordinate electrical designs with mechanical and plumbing systems
Organize and maintain project files, drawings, and documentation
Participate in internal design reviews and project team meetings
Conduct research on electrical codes (NEC), energy codes, and local jurisdiction requirements
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
Will be living in the Denver metro area for the Summer of 2026, and ideally beyond graduation
Strong interest in building systems and MEP design
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit
High attention to detail and willingness to learn
Preferred
Completed coursework in circuits, power systems, or building systems is a plus
