Responsibilities
Lead Subcontract Management Teams: Oversee subcontracts and critical subcontracted systems across various contract types
Direct and Manage Performance: Ensure adherence to all aspects of cost, quality, schedule, financial, and technical requirements outlined in subcontractor agreements or prime contracts
Develop Strategic Plans: Formulate sourcing and subcontract program management strategies aligned with program capture needs and execution objectives
Subcontractor Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between subcontractors and the program management office, fostering clear communication and efficient issue resolution
Subcontract Management: Supervise all stages of the subcontract process, from making business cases for make/buy decisions to negotiating agreements and overseeing program execution
Performance Decision Making: Make critical decisions impacting subcontractor performance, ensuring alignment with program objectives and goals
Schedule and Specification Compliance: Establish milestone objectives and ensure adherence to committed schedules and contractual specifications
Qualification
Required
Earned Value and/or Control Account Management (CAM) Certified with CAM experience
Demonstrated leadership skills
CAM experience on Cost Plus type contracts/subcontracts
Demonstrated technical aptitude
Risk Management experience
Accountable to commitments
Results oriented
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Willingness to adapt and learn
