UX Researcher

Responsibilities

You will work cross functionally with product owners, product managers, experience designers, content designers, and other partners to help identify and define research projects and objectives
You will scope, plan, and conduct user research and testing projects
Able to suggest appropriate methods for questions asked by product, design, and other partners
Able to decide and advocate for appropriate sample size for each method
You will independently program research studies into necessary tools, conduct quality assurance
Analyze results, generate actionable insights and share them with partners as well as the broader organization

Required

A great understanding of UX research modalities and methods (generalist)
At least 4-5 years of experience in remote, in-person, moderated, and unmoderated user research; including but not limited to usability testing, interviews, surveys, click test, card sorts, tree testing, etc
Experience with testing platforms: Maze, Figma are required and Qualtrics preferred, Glass Box (additional optional)
At least 3-4 years of experience working in finance, insurance, or healthcare (regulated industries)
Great active listening skills
Strong storytelling skills
Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects end-to-end
Collaboration with teammates and partners
Being open to feedback Soft skills that would make a candidate successful in this role: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelors Degree minimum
4-5 years of experience Required

Preferred

HCI (Human Computer Interaction) anthropology, psych, or descriptive stats (if they have this experience be able to speak to it, preferred not necessary)
business experience
public health (UX research from a mixed perspective)
Candidate preferred industry background: financial, insurance, healthcare (experience with regulated industries)
