Senior Frontend Developer
Aracor is on a mission to build a world-class product that will redefine dealmaking. We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to design and build the core user experience of Aracor’s AI-driven legal platform, collaborating with product, UX, and backend teams to deliver intuitive interfaces for document analysis and workflows.
Artificial Intelligence (AI)Information TechnologyInternet
Responsibilities
Build and evolve core product surfaces, including
Agents/Workflows visual builder (nodes, tool-calling, human-in-the-loop)
Documents & Search UI (citations, compare/redline, basic redaction)
Connectors wizards (Microsoft 365, etc.) with consent/scope flows
Models/Gateway settings (routing, guardrails, budgets)
Good engineering practices: Implement spec-first development, consuming OpenAPI-generated clients and ensuring contract consistency and backward compatibility. Maintain a high standard of quality: unit/component tests (Vitest, Testing Library), end-to-end Playwright tests on preview environments, and robust error handling and retry logic. Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and usability across all features
Performance & UX: optimise for responsiveness and speed using techniques such as code-splitting, lazy loading, skeleton states, and optimistic UI. Monitor and maintain frontend performance budgets and leverage browser tracing (OpenTelemetry) to identify and resolve bottlenecks
Security & privacy: implement secure-by-design UI patterns, including OIDC/SSO authentication flows, role-based UI gating, and safe handling of telemetry data. Adhere to security requirements and follow secure development best practices to prevent data exposure
Collaboration & developer experience: Contribute to component library and design tokens, improving reusability and consistency across product surfaces. Maintain Storybook documentation and page/route templates to support both internal development and external SDK/extension partners. Participate in trunk-based development, using feature flags and Argo Rollouts canaries to ship continuously and validate releases in real environments
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience building modern web applications using React or Vue (Composition API) and TypeScript
Proven ability to design and implement complex, data-heavy UIs such as workflow builders, wizards, or document review interfaces
Experience working in contract-first or spec-driven development environments
Strong background in automated testing, including unit, component, and end-to-end testing with Jest/Vitest and Playwright
Familiarity with secure UI development practices (auth flows, access controls, data redaction, OWASP Top 10)
Knowledge of WCAG accessibility principles and experience with web performance optimization, lazy loading, code-splitting, etc
Comfortable working with continuous delivery pipelines, feature flag systems, and rollout monitoring
Ability to work effectively with UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers; capable of making independent design decisions when needed
Preferred
Exposure to Shacdn, Vite, Pinia, React/Vue Router, Storybook, Tailwind or design tokens, and AI-driven product surfaces (RAG, model gateways, document search)
Experience in legal workflows
Benefits
Impact & Ownership: A leading role shaping the user experience of an AI-driven platform redefining legal technology. Your work will directly influence how customers interact with complex AI systems.
Growth Opportunities: Autonomy to make architectural and design decisions, with the opportunity to grow into a principal-level role as the team scales.
Remote-First Culture: Work from anywhere. We value outcomes over hours and empower engineers to manage their own workflow.
Mission-Driven Team: Join a tight-knit group of engineers, AI researchers, and legal experts building technology with purpose. We move fast, iterate constantly, and value initiative and precision.
