Responsibilities
Custom App Development: Design, build, and deploy custom applications using Workday Extend to close functional gaps and enhance the user experience
Integration Engineering: Develop and maintain complex integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, and Workday Studio
Core HCM Support: Partner with HR stakeholders to provide technical solutions within core HCM modules, ensuring data integrity and process efficiency
Technical Strategy: Translate business requirements into "High-Level Stories," focusing on the Why and Risk to align with organizational goals
Collaboration: Work closely with the Lead Developer to bridge the gap between technical delivery and strategic business outcomes
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on experience in Workday Development, specifically within Integrations and Core HCM
Proficiency in Workday Studio, XSLT, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and Report Writer (Calculated Fields)
Prior experience with or a strong desire to learn Workday Extend (App Builder)
Strong ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
Workday Pro Certification in Integrations or Extend
