Responsibilities

Schedule meetings like depositions and mediations to help prepare cases for trial
Help coordinate schedules for expert witnesses with guidance from the Case Manager
Train new Litigation team members on how to request medical and billing records and follow up on outstanding items
Communicate with medical offices, insurance companies, and lien holders to request documents and information needed for cases
Request medical records and billing statements and follow up to make sure everything is received
Call medical providers and lien holders to check balances or gather additional details
Request Med Pay and health insurance payment records
Save, organize, and process invoices and other documents
Help create and update medical binders, timelines, and summaries used to support cases
Keep clear notes and records of all steps completed, following firm procedures

Required

A high school diploma or GED
At least one year's experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant or equivalent experience
Strong attention to detail, effective time-management skills, and a proactive approach to work
Professional communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and a commitment to accuracy and follow-through
Experience supporting administrative or legal workflows is helpful, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn matter just as much
