Operations Support
MetroPlains Management is a property management company seeking an Operations Support team member. This role involves providing operational support to property management site teams, including clerical duties and customer service responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Familiar with MML’s managed properties to answer questions when management is unavailable
Provide excellent customer service by answering the phone in a prompt and courteous manner
Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, organized and effective manner
Interacts with residents and handles resident complaint procedures
General office duties include distribution of mail, copying, scanning, etc
Complete annual recertifications with current residents as required by the tax credit program
Send out recertification notices to residents or community managers to obtain signatures
Send out verification forms to third party vendors
Calculate and process all necessary documentation for certification of eligibility
Send out and obtain signed completed certifications from resident
Completes special projects for leadership team members
Ability to navigate across multiple software programs including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Yardi, MML Forms, Company Intranet; etc
Demonstrated ability to work independently, to organize work, to establish priorities, to follow defined procedures, and to follow through in the completion of tasks to meet established deadlines
Ensures agency regulation compliance and deadlines for documentation
Other duties as assigned

Associate degree or equivalent work experience
Prior experience in affordable housing
Excellent time and change management skills; good multi-tasking abilities
