Payment Corrections Coordinator

The Payment Corrections Coordinator will ensure the accuracy and compliance of payment and billing processes, while collaborating with various teams to resolve payment corrections and improve financial workflows.

Responsibilities
Research and process reversals, voids, and deleted charges for new business and OSA charges
Manage corrected claims requiring updates to CPT codes, ICD-10 codes, DOS, or billing providers
Coordinate OSA corrections for errors or misbilled charges
Collaborate with OSA AR and NB AR teams to research, correct, and rebill settlement agreements for practices and hospitals
Update and maintain RCM tracking spreadsheets to ensure data accuracy
Perform trend analysis to identify process improvements and minimize rework
Assist RCM Managers with special projects related to erroneous billing
Complete quarterly compliance audits and other assigned duties to support department success
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in patient or payor accounts receivable within a healthcare setting
Strong understanding of Commercial, PPO, and HMO billing guidelines and regulations
Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT coding
Hands-on experience with electronic claims and payment submissions
High school diploma or GED required
Preferred
Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
