Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret a vast array of data—from corporate tax returns and AR aging to appraisals and collateral evaluations—to establish creditworthiness
Conduct high-level research on industry trends to identify external risks that could impact a borrower’s ability to thrive and repay
Write the "story" of the credit. You will prepare detailed written narratives that outline performance trends, identify strengths and weaknesses, and make formal recommendations for risk ratings
Perform internal loan reviews on existing credits, "stress testing" current files to ensure our borrowers maintain the capacity to succeed in today’s evolving economy
Handle highly sensitive operational and financial information with the ultimate level of discretion and ethical integrity
Work alongside the Quality Assurance team to ensure all credit packages are airtight and compliant with 2025 consumer compliance laws

Required

Analytical Powerhouse: You have a 'detective' mindset and a passion for financial spreading and underwriting
Knowledge & Expertise: You possess a broad-based understanding of credit administration and the lending lifecycle
Elite Communication: You can take complex financial data and turn it into a clear, persuasive, and professional written narrative
Tech Mastery: You are a power user of Microsoft Excel and specialized banking software, using them to create sophisticated financial portfolios
A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
At least three (3) years of dedicated credit analysis and underwriting experience

Preferred

A Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
