As the Masonry Estimator, you would be the leader in providing high-quality masonry solutions for commercial and residential construction projects, overseeing projects from pre-construction through completion, and managing project documentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for masonry projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs

Perform comprehensive take-offs for structural block and full masonry assemblies (stone, brick, block, reinforcing, flashing systems)

Oversee projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards

Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met

Manage project documentation, including submittals, purchase orders (POs), and RFIs

Support contract administration and compliance with project specifications

Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to ensure all scope requirements are captured in estimates and construction

Develop and issue submittals for approval, tracking and expediting as necessary

Required

Masonry background or experience in estimating masonry projects

Proficiency in reading and understanding construction blueprints and technical specifications

Experience with structural block take-offs and full masonry assemblies (stone, brick, block, reinforcing, flashings)

Strong organizational and administrative abilities, including managing submittals and issuing POs

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Experience serving as a project manager on construction projects is highly desirable

Proficiency with construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred
