Confidential company is seeking an Assembler - Shop Technician to install assembly hardware options in copiers and printers as per customer requests. The role involves testing the units, following QA processes, and ensuring proper functionality before shipping to customers.

Responsibilities

Take assembly hardware options and install them in mainframe of copiers and printers per the customer’s request
Test the units that we setup for the customer and follow a standardized checklist and QA process to verify the product is functioning properly before units are staged and shipped to the customer
Use basic computer skills and mechanical skills, and tools such as different types of screwdrivers and nut drivers
Lift and assist in lifting units that go from small printers up to 50 lbs
Work with team members to ensure safety in lifting and performing tasks
Perform repetitive tasks and work in a team environment
