Responsibilities
Perform preparation of reagents and controls
Perform daily and weekly maintenance of equipment per SOPs (standard operating procedures) and any other applicable documentation
Maintain laboratory and equipment clean and functional (On the job training will be provided)
Perform all tasks related to clinical sample testing (blood, urine), including sample receipt, log-in, sample preparation and testing, recording test results, and disposing of samples
Organize stock and maintains inventory; order stock as needed
Adhere to existing safety standards and help improve laboratory safety practices whenever possible
Provide support to direct and extended R&D team as necessary
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate Degree- with 3 years' experience
4-year bachelor's degree (Chemistry, Biology, or other STEM related field) with 0-2 years' experience
Knowledge of laboratory duties and/or biological sciences
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to perform comprehensive clinical laboratory procedures of low and high complexity
Experience with maintenance of laboratory equipment
Experience with data entry and maintenance of laboratory records including quality control, instrument logs, and inventory of reagents and supplies
Ability to perform preparation of reagents and controls
Ability to perform daily and weekly maintenance of equipment per SOPs
Ability to maintain laboratory and equipment clean and functional
Ability to perform all tasks related to clinical sample testing (blood, urine), including sample receipt, log-in, sample preparation and testing, recording test results, and disposing of samples
Ability to organize stock and maintain inventory; order stock as needed
Adherence to existing safety standards and help improve laboratory safety practices
