Responsibilities
Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning, including CAPEX budgets and multi-year capital plans
Own CAPEX planning, tracking, and reporting, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and funding constraints
Perform investment and ROI analysis for capital projects, including NPV, IRR, payback, and sensitivity analysis
Partner with operations, engineering, IT, and leadership teams to evaluate and prioritize capital requests
Monitor capital project performance versus approved budgets, timelines, and expected returns
Prepare and present variance analysis for operating results and capital spending to senior management
Develop advanced financial models for scenario planning, capacity expansion, and major initiatives
Support capital allocation decisions, including trade-offs between growth, maintenance, and discretionary spend
Prepare executive-level reporting and presentations for leadership, board, or investors
Drive process improvements related to CAPEX governance, forecasting accuracy, and reporting efficiency
Mentor junior analysts and review financial models as needed
Support ad hoc strategic initiatives, including M&A and large-scale investments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
10+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment analysis, with demonstrated CAPEX ownership
Advanced proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling
Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow modeling, depreciation, and capital accounting
Experience evaluating capital projects using NPV, IRR, payback, and sensitivity analysis
Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and non-finance stakeholders
