The DevOps Release Manager will plan, coordinate, and oversee the delivery of software releases across multiple teams and environments, ensuring timely and high-quality releases with effective communication between stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Own and maintain the release calendar, ensuring alignment across teams
Coordinate end-to-end release activities from development through production
Manage go/no-go decisions, release approvals, and deployment readiness
Ensure proper versioning, tagging, and release documentation
Qualification
Required
High School or University Degree
2+ years of experience in Release Management, DevOps, QA, Support Application or Software Delivery
Experience with release, change management and Incident management processes practices (ITIL preferred)
Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience managing releases in Agile and/or Scrum environments
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
Working knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab)
Familiarity/Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)
CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Team City, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
Project tracking tools like Jira or Azure Boards
Documentation and collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira, Slack)
Monitoring/logging tools (Elastic Search, AWS Cloud Watch, Grafana,…) – basic knowledge
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple releases in a fast-paced environment
Calm and decisive under pressure, especially during production releases
Problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
