Responsibilities
Utilize project management and technical skills to manage projects throughout the project lifecycle
Work with clients to understand their business initiatives and priorities and help them solve complex business issues with the use of technology
Conduct detailed project planning and budgeting, requirements development, software selections, project status reporting to senior management, proactive recognition and resolution of issues across teams, and hands-on project guidance (both technical and other) to ensure completion of assigned projects on schedule and within budget
Establish, utilize, and champion the use of formal project management tools and techniques across all assignments: Project and process planning, Status reports and senior-level client interactions, Development and maintenance of accurate schedules, Creative and effective risk management, Management of issues and action items, Deliver projects on time, within budget, and scope with high quality
Act as a central point of contact between the business and development team(s)
Successfully manage project expectations and clarify roles and responsibilities when needed
Ensure a strong, team-oriented working relationship
Understand the client’s business, their essential issues, their business processes, their applications, and the systems affected by each project
Attend customer meetings and may serve as primary representative
Collaborate with government and contracting team leadership to manage the selection, scope of work, procurement, quality and payment of project materials, vendors and subcontractors
Qualification
Required
Secret clearance or above
Bachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering, Business Management, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent work-related experience
Five (5) or more years of direct project management experience in the building construction or facilities maintenance industry
Preferred
Management experience with government agencies
