They are seeking a Data Engineer responsible for aggregating, transforming, and engineering bank data while serving as a Subject Matter Expert for data processing and reporting applications.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to facilitate the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data. Ensure that data flows are efficient, accurate, and timely
Aggregate data from multiple sources, ensuring consistency and accuracy in the data used for analysis and reporting
Clean, filter, and transform data to prepare it for analysis. Identify and resolve data integrity issues
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, trends, and insights from complex datasets. Develop and implement analytical models to support business decisions
Assist in generating and maintaining reports from primary reporting applications, providing insights and analysis as required
Use data analytic tools and RPA tools to automate and streamline data collection and processing tasks. Experience with Tableau and Snowflake is preferred
Work closely with different business units to support data-driven projects, ensuring alignment and coordination across teams
Qualification
Required
Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field
Technical Skills: Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and experience with Snowflake are preferred
Coding skills in SQL is also preferred
Ability to perform exploratory data analysis and develop analytical models
Enthusiasm for data engineering, technology, and the banking industry
Strong communication skills with the ability to provide and receive feedback effectively
Excellent organizational skills, with a focus on detail and follow-through
Aiming to pursue a career in data engineering and business intelligence
Competence in data gathering, cleaning, and transformation techniques
Eagerness to learn and apply new skills in data engineering and analytics
Preferred
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau
Experience with Snowflake
Coding skills in SQL
