Responsibilities
Lead the development of proof-of-concept pricing tools to support company performance management and support driving implementation in the business
Define volume and price Power BI dashboards based on stakeholder input; support driving IT development and business implementation
Provide pricing support for commercial operations, including price actions and the development and implementation of a new pricing framework
Analyse global customer data and develop models, regression analyses, and ‘what if’ scenarios to support business intelligence and planning
Develop visualization tools and narrative, for both internal and external stakeholders, to support business insights
Provide deal support through the development of customer business cases and customer value
Conduct in-depth analyses to address pricing and business challenges and opportunities for our customers and support addressing those challenges with pricing and product selection
Develop pricing models to analyze potential pricing strategies and opportunities
Measure customer and regional volume, price, and margin performance against KPIs and provide regular updates to key stakeholders
Establish a forecasting model and process for the Commercial team
Compare sales trends to previous periods and determine the cause for decrease or increase for senior and executive leadership
Generate market-level price benchmarks and corresponding performance tracking mechanisms
Build volume, price, and revenue models to support strategic corporate projects
Advance existing knowledge of sell-in and usage by customer
Clarify stocking/de-stocking movements in channels
Utilize analytical skills to provide insights to help solve business problems
Qualification
Required
University Degree in Business/Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or similar
Fluent in English (both written and oral); other languages are a plus
10+ yrs experience in a pricing analyst, business intelligence analyst, or similar role
Analytical and demonstrated ability to extract key business insights through data analysis and communicate at all levels within an organization
Experience translating high level strategies into system and process requirements, through to local execution
Experience in implementation, creating reports, optimizing processes, training, implementing dashboards
Advanced Excel skills are a must to perform complex data analysis, create dynamic reports, automate tasks, and handle large datasets efficiently
Ability to use the full breadth of our corporate tools: Microsoft suite, SharePoint, Power BI, Salesforce (or equivalent), Infor M3 (or equivalent)
Data analysis - excellent knowledge of analytical techniques to inspect and sort data into a useful format and to create reports and visualizations that help solve business problems
Strong problem-solving skills and know-how to take available data and use analytical techniques to answer business questions and make informed decisions
Strong communication, presentation, project management, and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. English is the corporate language. Other languages are a plus
Detail-oriented self-starter who holds herself/himself accountable to exceed expectations, with curiosity and desire to continuously learn
Preferred
Previous consulting experience is preferred
Power Query experience is a bonus
SQL Server skills, including SQL objects development, performance tuning, data analysis and integration are a plus
